Yah, cross is better then the other... though I prefer the metal over either of the wood...
Viking metal shield is probably my favorite, though in a fight I will chose the darkshield, or whatever else is the largest and safest looking, simply because... (think about it) ...if you're in battle, and some maniac is charging at you swinging a sword and screaming his head off, would you rather hide behind this, or this?
I KNEW someone would make that point... and when you think of it, who the hell hits low when shield is up? WHO PUTS A SHIELD UP? And do you really think that the person who hits low would hurt you, especially without dying instantly? In Rune, you can do the short sword 4-combo attack when crouching my doing the first two swings when up, but in LCA that's impossible (as I've noticed) so they wouldn't hurt you by going low. Plus, darkshield is sooo ugly and doesn't fit in (my favorite is the one yellow is holding on the left). Since when has someone hurt you by hitting the knees when you have the smaller shields?
Also, if they do do it, in LCA it'd be an easier kill, and it'll also give more of a challenge just in case they could hurt you like that. The darkshield isn't very "low caliber", if you think about it the other shields definitely fit in with the "theme" (and match eachother) and go well with most skins except ugly ugly sarks . It really is pretty hard to say no to this idea, hopefully it is just a matter of getting it done.

If you were listening, da'lin', I said I liked the cross shield better then the non, and the the viking metal shield (ickle round one, ya'know?) best for looks, but I like me darkshield for practical purposes. And in war, I don't care how tall or short my opponent is, or where the logicians think he's going to hit me, I want a LARGE shield...
I agree about the darkshield being ugly. I don't mind the general shape, but the design on it is an ugly color, as well as being reminiscent of a chinese dragon or some such.
And I voted yes.

Oh and no no, the looks problem is the fact that its so big, its shape, the color, the fact that it doesn't match whatsoever, etc. Plus we don't want to make downloads bigger (actually if we save our caches this wouldn't be a problem ), so we are better off using the normal Rune shields. Also, 'tis so medium caliber, right?
I wish I knew how to either use RUNEed or some other program to make skins because I would like to do that (I have some skin ideas too). I know I could do that with photoshop. I would even be willing to redraw it in Illustrator to make a clean vector art copy . . .
Another idea is to make a shield that IS the logo (i.e. without the helmet and leaves/fethers)

Don't take my Darkshield away ......!!!1! I am one of those " ugly Sarks " and yer right, those darkshields do look good on me. I think you are right and the other little one does look better, but I don't see that as a reason to get rid of the Darkshield.
ps I didn't vote, just lettin you's know my thoughts.
