Well.. I'm unable to stay in LC for more than 5 mins Because there are Two @$$holes... One stole my name so I switched over to my other and now one keeps rejoining over and over and votekicking me...

That was some of the weirdest crap I've seen in a looooooong ol' time...

We had -[Ackadian]-Alexander and {Disturbed}_Alexander arguing with "himself", we had a lamer called Mario claiming to be the most infamous of all lamers, we had half a dozen Anonymouses and Players yelling over our heads, and then there was a discussion whether Tweak was RoOsTer or not... and I didn't even catch the full load. Yeesh.

It was great playing with Unter and Ulf.... then it was horrible with that whole situation for well over an hour... and eventually it was Dante and Middie and Radix and other fun people.... if only you stayed for that, hehe.

Then of course, blah again! For some reason I keep winning nearly every game today... strange stuff :blames mouse:.

yep, I had fun. Well, apart from the few lamers that happened to show up _right_ when we tried to do a macewars game... ah well. I don't let that bother me; beating the crap out of them in regular fighting makes up for it ;-)

I didn't notice that "koopatroop" sound until tonight. hilarious. :-)

Well, I saw most of that; but barring setting a kickban of sorts, noone can really deny them their weird sense of fun...

my advice for times when identity is an issue:
1. to help verify, get onto ventrilo...most of us know what each other sounds; and it seems that it would help when someone known to us is having his/her name defiled.
2. just ignore the crap and play on...it sucks, but leave a message here if you think your reputation is seriously being pummelled, as some of you have sensibly done, rather than cause a server fritz with chain-votekicking and -kicking. But then again, if you've been a welcome person on the server, then you'd be asked sooner or later why you tried to crash the server (for example) and be given a chance to prove yourself by server backlogs etc.

I know it's not a completely good situation for 'peregrines'/'good standings', but you can usually tell the regulars by their flag, ping, style, message-binds, etc.

PS. for what it's worth, "good games".

Hehe, well yeah.... the Low Caliber Arena has been having more 'lamers' lately than the lot of us could possibly deal with. Especially since most of us that play are minors, we just deal with the torture from idiots until eventually MAYBE we'll get some freedom. We can't really do anything about it, not even nosafe folks... but the 'lamers', they can abuse people all they want, and ruin the game. Us, all we can do is try to have fun and we can't :P. There could at least be SOMETHING we can do, if you look at most of the minors, we don't seem like we'd actually abuse things, right? Maybe that shady guy would, though maybe not anymore, but still..

Actually, I thought everyone going into boxing arena was quite good for those hectic times...even if they run away, eat midfight, it seemed better somehow.

I've been around a fair while now to not really care if someone else keeps running away or 'lames' repeatedly...that's nowhere near as bad as server crashing, lol.
Sorry if you minors seem to be bearing the brunt of it, but I wish I could impart some of the zen that's come to me...

Hmm even if a member was around to place commands, I've noticed that the really persistent vandals will just leave and rejoin to shake off mutes etc...and continuous kicking really does seem to make the server a bit unstable for a good while afterwards.
They just decided they would pick on poor Alexander 'cos he seemed to rail at them the most; I've seen that in general too, and from personal experience...

Ahhh DanteER..... you took some o' the words right from me mouth! I too wish I could impart my knowledge to the young Rune'ers, but alas.... 'tis something all must learn for themselves. I say just "kill them with kindness".
In all honesty a lot of laming is just a cry for attention. If you "freak on 'em" then they have achieved their goal. I try to be nice to even lamers in my own funny way, and my funny way is way funny. Usually I find if the Lamers cannot achieve irritation, they will calm down and be real people. Still judicious policing can be done, and not always by winning/beating them down into squishy pulps. If you KEEP throwing your body at the lamers as a free kill, winning becomes pointless. This sometimes makes the games VERY short, and therefore less fun lol. But followed by some chat compromise can be reached!!!
