We're in a bit of a transition phase at the moment. There are technically two Arenas and two Cycles... The servers you see on the left are our old Boston servers. They're laggy and being phased out.

Until we can get the site updated to show the new servers, make sure you check them out.

That's where we'll be tonight, testing that shit. Most of us are already experiencing lower pings than when the old Boston server when it was in it's prime.

I wonder if this server will break my ping record... I once pinged at 20 on the old one.

low 320-340s for me;

a rare moment when all stars were aligned and everlasting peace and love was in the world...

Seems good to me, though I did get the odd lag spike now and then.

Don't usually pay too close attention, but I had 94 ping at end-game.

Other people in the arena had 258, 92, and 107.

Fascinating; and does the latency appear to be holding steady, Mano?

it appears to have been a smooth transition; time will tell but it wasnt without 2 crashes.

meanwhile the hov arena style in the manhattan cycle seems to offer possiblities of a 2v2 or 3v3 or 4v4 battle..you think?

I couldn't find the new cycle server last night....

But the initial tests of the new arena are good. Check this ping that I actually held for a little bit.

yes, but personally i think its a good way to seduce high cal-ers into low cal, if it were left up for a time, something familiar for them to see...
and eventually they might see the joy of the 1v1 arena..
it certainly attracts the usual HOV crowd.

Indeed; as have we all since January of aught-two, more or less.

Yeah, I just renamed myself TeTchro (without the -= =-_(CDN)), and joined the new server, it runs fine... Though I never had any problems with the old one. Oh, well.
