Thx Mid, Shades; I'll crank my environ up to 16k x 12k and see what I can find.  <div> layouts are a bit temperamental and tend not to respond to the screen dimensions in the same way tables do.

In any case, the bar should progress as low as the content and form a coherent “page within a page”; still doesn't beat a nice full top-to-bottom, though.

Yikes, Dante; that has to do with an old (violent) script I revived to attempt to fill out the archives.  Lesson: beware of old code! Those messages are lost.

lol, there's some thing about a-o-v...he spawns bold text and "< br >"'s...i definitely havent seen that with udu....

That apparently has to do with the new fix for the long-string vulnerability: it breaks the “< br>” up, which somehow get interpreted as “<b>”.  I'll see what I can cook up.

I've noticed the game taskbars don't update without hitting the refresh button on the bar and then hitting F5. I don't know how many of you have this problem either, but there's a simple setting you can change in IE to fix it.

Tools >> Internet Options >> under Temporary Internet Files click Settings >> Check "Every Visit to Page"

Exactly, Mano; it's a cache-issue.  Theoretically I should be able to pop an occasional command in the headers telling the browser that the cache is expired and "please reload", but from all reports it works shoddily at best.  See if we can't figure something out.

I had some silly IE6 certification at my last job. I guess it comes in handy from time to time.

I'm declaring the cache problem and the bold problem and the menu-bleeding-over-its-sides problem temporarily fixed until we can produce some more screenies to the contrary.

You can also take your browsers off “every visit to page” mode, as that will have negative performance effects; it should now recash immediately under normal circumstances.
