MidknightEisregen,
That was a babelfish translation. I know it is incorrect. I want to learn German it is in my background. That would be cool to be taught some German to know off hand. I just did that because I thought it would be interesting instead of putting it in english. Talk to you on Vent sometime soon.

its interesting to see americans who want to learn german. the translation was of course not correct, but i think i know what you mean. i'm sure i make a lot of mistakes, too! i hope we will meet soon.
Deutsche Sprache - Schwere Sprache
(german language - difficult language)

Tue July 15 2003, 07:29 AM
ManowarLong story but I'd rather learn German than Japanese. Especially since I have some cultural roots there.

Tue July 15 2003, 08:02 AM
Eisregenthere you're right. i guess its easier to learn german than japanese! but i never tried to learn japanese...
hmm, might it be that americans are more interested in learning german than any other language? (was this sentence correct?

)

yes, it was perfect. You're English is better than some Americans. (see
{DTA}LORDNOMICS)
I would say many Americans would pick German as a language to learn. We have many Spanish speaking citizens here so Spanish is another language people like to learn. French is offered at local high schools (along with spanish) but many don't offer German. I think more people would rather learn German than French...

Eisregenin class 8 i had to choose between french and russian as a second language... i took russian... it was the biggest mistake i ever made! russian is not difficult because of the letters. its difficult because of the grammar! fortunately i only have to learn it one more year!

thanks for the compliment.

MidknightUs Canadians want to learn German as well. We get that crappy Canadian French in our system. I can't stand the bullshit.
Tue July 15 2003, 11:35 AM
']['|-|E_SzerdiIch spreche ein bisschen Deutsch. And I'm going to major in German in college. lol. Ich bin halb Deutsch und ich finde Deutsche kultur sehr interessant. War das gut? Ich bin doof . . . heh heh.

Edited to be less doof (stupid or dumb rite? or am i misinformed?)

tha was almost perfect! impressive! but it must be "Deut
sche"

[EDIT] ah, and of course "bisschen"

Ich bin doof
do you know what that means?

why is german culture interesting for you?
Tue July 15 2003, 11:48 AM
']['|-|E_SzerdiAlways forget that damn "s" (too many consonants in a line . . .) Germany is like the source of barbarians and dark forests and warlords and really kewl shit. Not to mention being part german increases my enthusiasm. I would like to learn a lot of languages (20 or so?) and German is my first second language.

Tue July 15 2003, 11:58 AM
MidknightThe German culture is interesting to me because of my background. I want to learn more and live that cultural life style. It is one of the most intriguing cultures in this world.
Tue July 15 2003, 12:26 PM
ManowarAmerica and Canada have shitty "cultures"

Tue July 15 2003, 01:59 PM
<SHADY>by shitty do you mean none-existant?
Tue July 15 2003, 02:15 PM
Mr_FisterHey now..... I saw some great cultures in Biology 12! hehe. I want to learn Japanese, but only so I can hit on all the Japanese Schoolgirls that come here! Mmmmmmmm Me love them long time

.
Canada may not have well defined cultural boundaries, but we're an effective melting pot.
Kinda like cultural soup

mmmmmm.
Tue July 15 2003, 02:43 PM

Tue July 15 2003, 03:58 PM
Danteyeah, and fister, if you live on the bangbus route (ie tourist) route like i do, yep, you get to see those japanese schoolgirls every other day...
at first i was spooked out when i found myself walking my dog and stared at...yeah i wasnt too well-dressed at the time..but strange how disinhibited you can become...even when you look a mess, your bitch is laying a bog and you're staring right back...well, not so much these days...
(hehehe)
lol, australia has no culture, so it must be "shitty"...
