Hi all of you from lowcaliber.Bongo and me (mostly him
) have created a wonderfull server/client tool !!!Its the one and only (of my knowledge, and yes i know that much lol) server download display !!!
What does it do you may ask????
IM GLAD YOU ASK !!!
Each time a client connects to the server and downloads a file, the name of the person is displayed at the top of the screen and a small discreet window will appear for everyone in the server, displaying the number of downloaders, the file being transfered, the size of file and the amount currently transfered !!!
What use could anyone have with this?
Its SIMPLE !!!
server owners get the benifit of seeing people who download and the progress so that they can know how many people to expect in their server, along with as knowing how long a transfer takes, the size of files they are hosting, etc
Use for clients?
Know if your friend is possibly joining, how long he has remaining before joining and the number of downloaders (so they know why lag may occur and have no reason to whine about it)
