The band Manowar have some fine songs. For instance, the song "The power of thy sword" remember me some Rune fights... But there is much scrap from them. Only three good albums on the whole bunch.

To be honest. I don't think you will want me to recommend any. I am a music lover and there are way to many recommendations. I will however tell you what I HATE. That would be RAP/Hip Hop/Country. I mostly listen to Indie Bands and those starting out there search for the big record label contract. Musical choice at the times I listen to music which is a lot is based upon my feelings at the moment. Classical instrumentals come to mind when I am deep in thought. Nu-Metal and Alternative rock come when I am hyper or in need of relief. These 70's, 80's and early 90's bands I see in this post rather annoy me. I could never understand the peers I grew up with on how they could like Iron Maiden and Metallica. I have no use for those bands in my thoughts.
