I really wanna get back into mapping. I have some really cool ideas that I've been sitting on for too long, and if I sit much longer Rune could die off and I'd never get a chance to see the ideas realized.

Go for it, I'm always up for new Rune maps. We hardly get any.

Well, I was thinking an original map. Like an island, with two towns (this either has to be a big ass map, or two linked servers... which ever works best), anyone you have your character login tied to a specific team, which is tied to a specific town (I can't do the scripting for that part though cuz I got very little scripting skills), anyway the various members would be able to add their own houses to the towns and then their character login would be tied to that specific spawn point within the town (i.e., their house). By "add" their house I pretty much mean they make a request and we drop a house brush on there (prolly ones stolen from the single player game cuz they've got some really good ones), they tell us the type of house, location, etc. (the town will already have a wall and a road and docks and such but yeah)

Anyway in the wilderness between the towns you'd be able to have open fighting, the towns would be no-kill zones, but each town would have like a little arena in it where you could fight your own town folk if there's no enemies on. You could also have NPC guards/villagers if you really wanted to make it fancy or something but yeah. I've done that on a few past maps. You could get as fancy as you want about it really once the foundation is setup and it's got a player base. And of course it would run the whole rak mutator and such so it would be loyal to the LCC's physics standards and such.

It's a big project but like if people wanna see it happen (and would really come and play on it and make it substantial) I'd be totally willing to get started on it.
