So what is the general consensus on the situation with you guys.
I think we should give him a second chance. I know he is really broken up about it by the stuff he has posted and the PMs he sent my on his forums.
Anyway I think it really has effected him and he has learned his lesson. If not yet maybe let him in for a Christmas gift ?
Perhaps he places too much importance on the need to belong to something...
I would say let him in because we understand how much he wanted to belong and impress us with "his" coding. Just make it abundantly clear that nothing like this will be tolerated in the future, or perhaps just put him on some sort of a probation period where he can read but not post in the red carpet or something?
I just kind of feel sorry for him because of how hard he is taking this, so I told him I would ask around and get a feeling for if he is ever going to get back in

Having trusted someone in once, we do our best to give him the benefit of the doubt; when the situation has cooled off a little and things have resettled, we can think about the next step.

Thing is, he's quite humble to us. But I've already been informed by a few people in the Rune Community (outside of LCC) that he's bragging about how we're going to let him back in and it's no big deal.

True his PM's have gotten a little more confident.
In one he is like "i'll never be let back in"
and the next he's " I have a feeling that something good is gonna happen very soon now"
I feel that he is almost expecting it any day now. I say at least a couple of weeks from the time of his last attempt to get us to bring him back.

personally i think you guys should just lock that little "poll" thread of his...nobody is going to vote on it, he needs to just settle down, i think his problem is that he wants in the club so bad it's clouding whatever good judgement he might have and it's just increasing the annoyance factor ten fold

I sorta like the kid, but that kind of behavior and attitude is shameful... worse, he doesn't seem to acknowledge that. Still, his apparently sincere desire to please, have people respect him, and fit in somewhere makes me sympathize... let's see if he sticks around, or goes to wail for admittance at the doors of KOD and other servers.

By the way, I don't think his age should be used as an excuse so often. It's an easy way out, but no real justification for bad behavior. Judge the guy for himself, not his age. And not his past either. Give him a chance, once more. He can learn from his mistakes, if he wants to.

Well you all know where I stand on it. I don't like him - never have.

Personally, I think we'd be better off without his brown-nosing banter.

The last post was interesting; it's curious to see public impressions about our membership process.  As for the rest: the sigs! my eyes...

IT is true I would like to see him at leat own up to it and admit that he did steal it instead of using creative language to work around it and never own up to it.

I am glad to see that he has pretty much cooled down (at least on this forum). I think he is a generally good kid and should be given a second chance.
I don't think he would ever try pulling anything like this again.
