NuTT98Stuff (members read)
ICQ me instead, I don't check my 321Webmaster anymore since that thing is Fed up, so is hotmail don't bother and yahoo is screwy as well, although if you must, nuttttt98@yahoo.com but don't count on your email being replied. I could make a POP3 but I don't feel like it so sucks for you
Misanthrope, the reason you're not on the wall is because I don't see you around anymore, if you never come to the arena, you don't really need to be on the wall do you? I don't want to mess around with creating more picture frames/ taking portrait shots and creating name tags and properly lighting the new frame when you're never gonna be around to see it. You're probably not gonna read this anyways which goes to show you my point. If you are around (perhaps at a time when I'm not) then apologies, let me know because I can't remember the last time I seen you or read any of your messages on the forum.
Also Masuhara, you may be removed from the wall in the end if you don't speak up.

ManowarI think the kids gotta play to stay an active member. Activity on the message board tends to be a good indicator of who's been playing and who hasn't.
I understand they break their computers and sometimes people are out of commission for a few weeks. Honestly though, how hard is it to get online somewhere within a week or two and let the gang know what's going on?
With the new member dues I think a "behavior clause" should be written in case someone thinks 20 bucks makes them co-owner and acts like a crazed mantra. That way a dismemberment and loss of 20 dollars won't come
completely out of left field.

ImpalerYeah Mano, you're right; Unter and I talked (some time ago) about a set of "Rules & Regulations" but we thought it's best to bring forth the dues first, and then the R&R. If you have some good ideeas write them down, and we'll do a lil' brainstorming.

MisanthropeGood point, Nutt. Yeah, I don't really play Rune anymore, it's just not enjoyable for me at the moment, though the liklihood is that I'll get back into it in a few months.
I'm currently killing myself by working on my own projects (DirectX and OpenGL 3d engine, I've read about 2000 pages of technical information in the last two months...) while concurrently taking a computer architecture, artificial intelligence, and a couple of political science courses at the same time. As such, it's understandable if Unter wishes to remove me from the member's list, since I can't warrant spending money on a service that goes unused (other than the boards, of course). It'd be preferable if I could still have member's access to the boards so I can keep up with what's happening in the community, but that's up to Unter.
Also, since I'm developing an engine of my own (God help me), I may need assistance from time to time on level design, modeling, art, sound (Fister?), etc. Does anyone know of a good, open source C++ scripting language in the same format as Lisp? I have some interesting plans for the engine AI, perhaps moving past simple state machines to more adaptive intelligent, self-learning agents (a project in itself).
For now, I'm keeping everything simple and just wading through OpenGL and increasing my linear algebra skills to compute all the necessary 3D math. If anyone has a background in modeling, texturing, etc. and is willing to help, let me know. Though don't expect constant updates, it's hard enough to manage my life without this project, but since I'm masochistic, there's no stopping my forward progress. I intend to use this as part of a portfolio for obtaining a job in games design, as such, the code will be my own, but any help will be recognized in the credits under either a pseudonym or your true name, dependent on preference. No money is to be made through this project, it’s for intellectual advancement and portfolio use only.

NuTT98Your own OpenGL engine huh? That sounds megasweet. Let me know when(if) you have some sort of demo scene ready.
Well than I won't bother to put you up yet, but whenever it is you do come back, let me know. Whether the map will go up or not is still uncertain so it may be no issue to begin with.
