So do we as a club have any intentions to stop recruitment for the time being? I like the club right now, and i would like the oppurtunity to get to know some of the active members and minors better. Latley i see alot of additions to the club and it has kinda been bothering me because i feel like that is all were doing. Would it be possible to arrange some type of meeting weekly or monthly in chat or ventrillo? or maybe we can just cram a couple low cal servers with people from our roster and people who are interested in joining the club. I dont mean this to be offensive to anyone, im just speaking out. I like the fact that our club differs from normal rune clans. We value certain things and i dont know about the rest of you but i honestly feel like you guys are my friends and not just some dudes i play rune with. Anyways I hope this post goes over well and i hope we have some things to look forward to as far as club events and tightening recruitment goes. I've said it before and i'll say it again, what do yall think about bringing the current club closer together before bringing in more members. Lets hear some ideas for the club, thoughts, and honest opinions.

I agree to an extent r0x, we do need to get to know each other a lot better.

What we need to do is relax on Minorship requests. Now that they can see their votes, they're seeing an overwhelming yes vote, (in Socketboy and Eraser's case), but with no action taken.

I'd really hate to discourage those two from coming around. Maybe we need an official Doctrine on the matter..

Couldn't we relax the cessation of recruitment only long enough to let Eraser in? I think he greatly belongs in the club.

last week, eraser did ask about the process over ventrilo and i explained this recent change of pace.

he did say that he understood and raised the point that too many people would make the club not special.

Funny you mention it. Yes, I applied right before Unter left on a two-month vaginal absence. If you look, I was let in the 8th of October, last year, lol. But applied the 21st of August.

It was different to wait back then. I knew most of the regular players, but was unable to post on the forums. Recruits can post, come in vent and do almost whatever they'd like. Yes, they have immunities on the server, but it's not like we kick guys like Eraser and Socketboy. The only thing peregrines don't have is Red Carpet access and some say in policy.

Actually, I think that the most important thing about being a member is the ability to plogin. That is why I think that even members who have officially been taken off of the members list should remain untitled minors, so that no one can take their names.

Terrific! Those are the cities I thought too, along with an extra one for Canadian or central American people. Maybe a token one for Beijing or Tokyo or better yet, the Russians!
Originally, had a rough idea of 5-6 clocks of different cities, over a world map linked under the 'Stats' page; the map being relevant to showing cross-hatches relevant to various weapon kills, damage types, etc. I'm all talk when it comes to this stuff, hehe, don't know much web-page do-ability at this stage. But something like the javascript on Mano's member page can be supplemented with extra lines for the various GMT-x, right?

How about some slight customization? Syndey, Baden-Württemberg, Mt. Pleasant/Orlando, Newport Beach, Saskabush..

Midknight must be MST because he's two hours behind me, and Rhoedd/Yellow are in the same time zone as me, EST.
