Danteplease advise someone feeling really bad
this is a sort of confessional and a debriefing...
with regards to kicking people...
i know as a member i am entrusted with this grave responsibility...
now, i often play in hours where my favorite fellow members are not around...tough luck for me in my timezone...so i find that a *very* different sort of crowd is around...
i was particularly hurt yesterday by 2 fellows who refused to play nicely...and consequently chased away jaguar, muggy and a few other newcomers who were playing along well before they came...when i attempted to tell these 2 about low cal's constitution they threw insults and proceeded to ambush me...
kicking them every now and then for 2 rounds, when they were particularly bad, did nothing to settle things; they came back and i fumed as they proceeded to disrupt everyone else's duels...
anyways i was so upset that i really had to write this...
so, would it be fair to suggest a toning down of 7 capacity down to 6 for the time being?
i know it sounds a bit paradoxical but i hope it would allow someone who is keen to play along well to actually join and leave the kicked moron time to cool off...so many people around seems to invite craziness and bring out the ambusher...
this was unfortunately my first really bitter experience in low cal...and i'm sorry, but i really had to turn to my fellow-members for guidance...i hate being righteous and felt deeply mortified that i had to assert authority...
i guess i'm more disappointed in myself that i couldnt persuade them and talk some sense into them...

If memory helps me, Unter was working on a 'nuke' command that will allow to kick someone for an entire game.

Danteok sorry i started this topic...i was feeling out of my depth...i whinge very much, you see...membership growing pains perhaps?
and now that i've applied a bit of cognitive behavioural therapy on myself, i believe i can sustain a happy approach to playing again...and not have to use member commands much at all...
btw about time you showed up baigum!

Dantereally it would be cool to simply take away the rune power gathered by the morons as they typically lame-kill then use rune power to prolong their kill streak...

ManowarIn those cases you're left with the only option of constant kicking. If you kick, just wait for the instant they come back and kick again. Keep doing this and they'll usually get tired of it.
You can also try to contact your neighborhood minister, but i realize that's tough since we're 14 hours apart and I have to maintain a semi-normal sleep schedule.
I'm usually in the IRC Chat so if you go in there, make sure you send me a private message (because i'm not always paying attention to the chat window) if I'm at my computer I'll be able to help you out.

Dantehey, another idea for lameness...
i dearly wished that when there are >1 lamers, then they could all be whisked away into a LOCKED ROOM, with weapons and respawn, all by themselves so they can annoy heck out of each other...perhaps until the end of round?
wouldn't that be something?

Mr_Fisterlol like a penalty box that remembers IP's for a whole round? hehe good idea but probably hard to enact. I too have had troubles with others/trouble with using member commands. I know I am a member but I still feel I have no right to enforce my gameviews on lamers. I find that NOT getting annoyed (or not showing it anyways) works best for me... they usually get bored if you are no "sport" for them to harrass
. If runes are a problem then I just go and wait in the no Runes ring till they get it out of their system. I know I can/should? enforce the rules... but I don wanna 
Ahhhh here comes my battle cry....! "Can't we all just get along!" lol
Frustrating at times but there are many Grey areas in gaming hehe. (For me anyway)

Lord WintermoonThere is an easy solution... Make the server to a HOV server with the arena modus. I have thought about so often, that I dream of it... It helps really much...

FaisonHmm, hey Fister if not a penalty box like DanteER suggested, how about have then crucified on the wall and to ad insult to injury they can't have a roman death they'll just stay ther for the round. Or let them take damage but regenerate it like prometheus after the griffin ate him( i think that's right).

ManowarThat actual 'nuke' command that was discussed would really help. It would kick someone for the rest of the round.
Giving the player two options:
1) lame elsewhere
2) realize we mean business and stop messing around
