Unter do you understand this?

"This means that the compiler will now compile our code. You may now want to open a MSDOS prompt and change to your Rune system directory and type "ucc.exe make" or create a shortcut to do the same thing. The compiler should now run and hopefully bring up no errors (it didn't for me anyway) and a new file called COTM.u should appear in the system directory. Thats it you've now compiled, if an error is generated it will give the line number and a general description of the error, most likely you missed a closing bracket or a semi-colon."

Need help with the the MSDOS Prompt. I keeped reading it over and over but still don't undetstand what to do with the MSDOS Prompt and I was wondering if yous can help me out. Roll Also how do you rebuild .uc files?

When asked for the class name, just rename the package as well (RuneI.ini mismatch i presume).

You clearly have used export all, good

You make the mutator you want, BUT REMEMBER: do not touch the files you have exported! Only create new files to the mutator. For example if you are making a package "bla.newbla", you make a directory structure in your Rune folder like this \bla\Classes\ and place the new code there (must be at least a file blanew.uc). I assume you have done the coding now.

Next you need to add a package you are making to Rune.ini as new Editpackages entry

Then open DOS prompt and write: ucc make
This compiles your new code to "bla.c" in your System folder.

If you have implemented something that needs to be sent to clients, for example some subclass of HUD (graphics as you see it in game), then you need to make a new entry on Serverpackages. If nothing is to be sent to client, i.e. its a server side only mutator you dont need to do that.

Now start a server and choose your mutator
