And if that doesn't work right away, go to regedit afterwards and delete EVERY registry key related to Rune and that'll work. Somehow it worked on Pete's, so whatever, man!

NO don't delete the reg keys. You do not want to be doing that. Screwing with the registry is a bad bad thing to do and if you are planning to reformat your computer to reinstall windows I wouldn't advise it. RuneEd only is on windows and not on MAC's or Linux. The .ocx files are to be added to the system folder within the root folder. The files necessary to run RuneEd are contained within the EditorFix directory on the Rune CD. The files should be in the editorfix folder on the HOV cd. If not get the unrealed fix from UnrealedFix.exe

All of these files need to be copied to your Windows\System directory (usually C:\Windows\System).

NOTE: Doing this incorrectly could cause problems with your system. Only copy these files if you

are an experienced computer user (or don't care if you potentially mess things up Smile. When you

copy these files, it's possible that your computer already contains a version of these files. If this

IS the case, it is recommended that you choose whichever file is the more recent of the two.

Once these files are copied, you may need to reboot your machine. After that, run RuneEd again and

happy mapping!

Many 3D programs don't like the Windows XP GUI. You might want to go to My Computer and right click it and goto properties. Then under preformance options select best preformance. Then get out of that window and right click your desktop and go to themes then select classic view. This is a problem I know Maya has with Windows Xp. Try it.

......People still use the XP gui?! Holy Shit, you crazy people!

Oh and there's no health risks regarding good ol' regedit with Rune.. I don't know how the hell Pete predicted that it'd work after killing all things Rune-y in the registry.... some people these days.

Could always back up the registry Smile, but I do realize you use a Mac so it beats the dumbells out of me. Go chickens!
