Someone has to download and host the client software. You can read all about it at that web site.

On a related note, my headset is busted. I want to buy a nice one this time, but am low on funds. It'll either be a week or so until i get this squared away, or I'll just break down and buy another cheap one..

Nice, boys; with the new Ventrilo there's a Codec for CD-quality voice:
3    GSM 6.10 (44100 Hz, 16 bit) 8905 bytes/sec
Have to put it up and see if we can handle the bandwidth.
