I think this will be good news for Mano, who was enquiring as to whether his virtuoso hoop skills would be recognized.  In fact, the data we've been collecting since Feb. 12 distinguishes between the following types of kills and deaths:

• blunt
• sever
• bluntsever
• thrownweaponblunt
• thrownweaponsever
• thrownweaponbluntsever
• decapitated
• specialdamage
• gibbed

Interestingly, the Goblin counts as blunt, not sever, and I know he can hack limbs; the mother-of-all-frags, a decapitation with projectile GoblinAxe, would therefore qualify as a thrownweaponbluntsever: the rarest of types next to gibbed and specialdamage.

Specialdamage appears to include the mace powerup and fist; while gibbed, a crucifix-kill.

whoa I didn't know that was even possible. I gotta start throwing my goblin axe more often, lol.

Does this mean the Gob axe's Rune power causes thrown blunt/sever deaths?
