This should be the first step ... until i'll master the 3dsMax. Maybe then, we'll take off her skirt. WifeSkinUnfinished.jpg (183 Kb, 425 downloads)

Beautiful, imp; truly virtuosic work. She'll make a good wife when she's done, lol. Attached is the unknown *.3ds file; I believe it's what we're looking for. There's also autocad, object and milkshape formats. 030303_Figurine.zip (2,758 Kb, 13 downloads)

It's what we thought: a naked babe mesh. I managed to get it into 3ds (to reduce the polys)then export it to MilkShape (the MilkShape file was only the torso), I asigned the mesh to a runePlayer skeleton but when I try to import the thing in RuneEd, boom: "Fatal error: infinite loop" Conclusion: it's gonna take longer than expected.

Yikes; that's to be expected, lol. Couple things: a) how does she look? and b) maybe you can post the mesh here and I'll try my luck, too.
|

a)She has a common look; nothing impresive. I d\l gMax and i'll try to change that b)You'll have the mesh tomorow.

Any updates? | |||

I'll start a model from scratch, perhaps we'll have more luck that way.
|
| Treasurer |
Indeed; sometimes that's the most effective way to side-step inexplicable errors. Would it help to attempt to convert one of the other formats, or to furnish you with a new model?
|

A new model doesnt work dude. Look at the one I sent you: the shoulder bones of the original skeleton are out of proportion; only a steroids-based wife can have shoulders like that.

Damn, Imp; from the side she looks positively "delicious", though I see what you mean about the shoulder joints sticking out. Will that have bad effects when she's imported?
|
Emeritus![]() |
I don't know how the atachement between the mesh and skeleton works; only that when a bone is moving he produce the movement of the 'assigned' part of the mesh. I dont think it has any importance if the bone is stickin' out.

Nice; very exciting work, man.

Damn- i can't make my Gmax to work: after i download the setup file from Discreet, it gives me a 'bad CRC' when running. So this is gonna take longer then i expected (considering that my MilkShape have expired again).

Did someone know the meaning of this? (apears when i'm trying to import into rune a new player mesh) error.jpg (45 Kb, 228 downloads)

not a clue but I can see that you use that Silver Windows XP color format
|
Emeritus![]() |
Yeah, i'm sick of that blue stuff ..

Lol; I was just going to say: "silver". Is that in RuneEd, Imp, or in Rune itself? Beware: Human Head disabled the mesh tool in RuneEd since it relied on proprietary or licensed tools, I believe; it registers, however, as a GPF or similar.
