Holy schiess, Mano... I didn't know that video existed, that's awesome.

What a pretty thing... gave me some ideas.

Would be nice to take a different approach and put live video into these now, I'd love to record as a spectator (would mean I need ghost/fly/god). Like an opening similar to that of that one right there but then going straight into video, etc.

Oh and Pete gave me 5 In Extremo CDs to go through (they're german) and I'll listen thorough to see if they fit, I'm pretty sure some songs will... being that a lot appears instrumental is a good thing, too...

Do I get to be in this??

Been taking heaps of demorecs, guys...you might want to experiment too, pencil...search 'works in progress' forum with 'demorec'...

Thing is, sometimes the lag on my slow connection gets translated into the demorec too, but so far, been fiddling around with capturing off the demorec and editing slices, another great tool I've combined with the demorec itself is the use of the camera lock...
...that sarkspawn sure looks kinda weird, dodging and dying...
The conversation's get filmed too, and it's pretty funny sometimes...looks like a "gf" or "gg" section is in order, where the keybound comments and chatter gets aired...

Actually, plenty of material from this site to integrate into the project too: ie screenies of the members walls, etc..
Heck, the Constitution, or part thereof, scrolling upwards, trapezoid-shaped, like in Star Wars? Or paragraphs scrolling side to side, over each other down and up...
A paragraph or line from the Constitution fading out to some video or screenshots...that sort of thing?
Flash format, since some of you are into it, where each of the 6 weapons gets a follow-on to bios, video, sshots...

Vent, and captures of people's voices and Microsoft Sam announcing entry into vent has to be a 'must'...

Hehe I make FRAPs videos instead... though it probably lags a ton more, makes my game run slower while trying to maintain a 25fps (or whatever I preset) video. Those demo recordings can't be converted (BINK?! nah...) so yeah . Schwee.

Hey yo Mid! Been able to work on this project at all lately?

Been editting pics. Need more. Also I want more ideas of music to accompany this project. Remix music/rock/alternative in those genres. Unless there is some nice pieces of orchestral work from a movie soundtrack. Please everyone is welcome to have there input. But defiantly need some of those amazing screenshots. Ones that just stand out as WOW!!!

Heh, I am afraid the only ones I still have are accidental and don't have anything in them, or are not from LC... As for music I would go with something on the heavy side, and I would lean twards instrumental or mostly instrumental.

Although, it would be way cool if you could get the timing right to go to the beat of a rap song. That would be the best... if you don't want to do that, I want to...

I think instrumental is the way to go. I've never been to keen on the industrial metal approach. (Although I did use Rammstein in the vid I made. )

Besides, depending on the approach, the music is either the first or last decision you make. In my case I tried to build the video after the song. (Pay close attention to the video and the beat/changes in music - some of them I hit dead on, some I did not.) That's not always the best way to go though. Sometimes it's better to make the video and lay a bunch of tracks over it until you find the right one.

I've dabbled in video editing for years now (not on the computer but on real tape decks) and those are generally the two approaches I've taken with any video I've made.

I am not always a metal fan myself, but I think you should chose the music based on the feel you want for the video. I think rune has that kind of 'hardcore' 'metal' feel to it. If you have the right track it can make the picture action way more intense and energetic. I don't know, just with all the metal weapons and cutting of heads metal music seems like it would fit.... and that is actually all I have seen in rune videos so far.

I still say this 'In Extremo' poop that Pete gave me to try might work perfectly (more so than most)... I just haven't given a listen yet.

The Coal Chamber "Loco" thing I posted earlier I think has some parts that would fit great. Give it a listen. We could do a mix of songs but I don't know how well that would work. Whats a good music mixer/video composer? I would like to mess around with this stuff.

LOL I love my Acoustica Audio Mixer. I can't see anything much better, 'specially for what I need. Haven't got into FruityLoops but it just doesn't look the same.
