Starting a project and would like everyone to contribute if they can. I need music, images and ideas for the total outcome. I have just modelled and am now texturing the 3d logo of the LCC. (Image below) I want extraordinary screen shots to be in the video production. I want catchy music that I can key to with the frames. Everyone is welcome in the club to help. (Yes Pencil you can help) Any little ideas or thoughts are welcome. Thank you

Like I say anything you come up with. There isn't really anything I won't accept. Make it reasonable and clear.

Screenshots... want them to be only from LC servers or from anywhere?

I have a screenshot that is like 3 years old. and alot taken by accident beccause of my hotkey.
I am thinking we need rune footage of people killing BH and me being the only one going the right way getting weapons.
And lots of throwing and funny comments

I have a bazillion screens but the resolution is so high....

Now I only have a 128mb 9600 PRO so video in Rune to make it play well is at 640x480 half-sized (probably full-sized, never know) and (for compression) WMV format. But I can make a might fine looking WMV with a good framerate if I try enough (I hope). Perspective = running like a madman in the Runes arena, avoiding blows while filming you wonderful people .

Tell me what resolution you want the images at, too.

I could at least TRY... making videos in LCA is funnnn (too bad rune isn't as video-friendly as a lot of my other games).

Hey I tried joining a server with that stuff once, it had a bazillion files and took forever, then did what MPK did and just made me run real fast and never connect. Ugh, maybe this'll work (downloaded beta 1 since beta 2 has problems just like the screens section).

Yeah, as you can tell I never came close to finishing it. I just wanted to use the java scrolling background for something.

Screeners resolution won't matter as I say we can "Photoshop" them. The video at the end will probably be in a 720 x 480 resolution = standard wide screen format. I will be also integrating 3d text and other little things into it.

Eis I likes what I see there. I suppose for a guideline on the music we should hold a poll to see the music genre preference of the club. My feelings on the soundtrack should be dark but nothing to deep that you lose the concept of the commercial. We are advertising ourselves so we want people to want to check us out.

Hehe it IS a good little tune, I got a bit of Malice Mizer and some other instrumental stuff that might go nice. Malice Mizer is a little orchestra-like though (which is why I barely listen) but there might be something darker... Pete said to use IN EXTREMO. He gave me 2-3 CDs to check out, I guess I will and post the ones that fit in the most.

The Pillows did both of the FLCL OSTs and the music goes great with FLCL but it might not be dark enough or fit well with the mood like it did in FLCL though its worth a shot.

And yes that other song was a The Pillows song but that one is the exact opposite of what they do, hehe .

(And what is this "host down." business? It appears to be up in Rune although no one is joining...)

I think they're mostly all low-cal shots; pity I'm appearing as a guy here though!

OH ya forgot PLEASE give the screeners to me on MSN. I think that would be more of a logical way of doing that.

Hmm, since this got bumped down, no one has bothered to contribute (much like every other thing except in general... if its not the most recent topic, its not worth it, eh? ), so here's a bump. Hopefully people are still trying to do stuff that would help this idea...

heh, I discussed which kinds of music I thought would work best with Middie quite some time ago.

I've also been collecting images since I started playing the game. With the intent to use them on projects like Midknight's, or the video project I made a while back.

I have somewhere around 100 cropped and nice screens ready to go and over 400 still in bmp form. (I had much more, but had a hard drive crash last summer.) I'm willing to share them with anyone that wants me to send it their way... it's a large file, and can't be done via forum.
