Hi, anyone know how i can run rune without using the cd? i forgot how i did it on my box, and i just installed rune on the laptop.

Well, actually Mr. Stinky is correct, if you have HOV just install the HOV Incremental 1.06-to-1.07 patch and it auto-cracks, just like Unreal Tournament/UT2003's final patches did.

However, in earlier version, you might be able to open up '\Rune\System\Rune.ini' and edit a line called "CDPath" or something, you should be able to find it... and just change that to "\", I believe, which is your root directory for Windows, relative to what most consider as "C:\". Then again, if that doesn't work, just change the line to your Rune directory or your Rune system directory. However, I never really crack it that way because the patch fixes it automatically, there's not even an editable line when patching HOV to 1.07. So yeah, anyway, just do that.
