The basic idea is two teams around a central goal (or several goals, as in the case of Mid's Skockey); preferably, the goal would be clearly marked by light or natural object (Fais might be able to import a medieval flag).

Skolf goals should be zones with a ZoneTag of 'golf' (no quotes); and you can insert info actors for now with a 'skolf' tag where the heads should be placed: the mutator will take care of the rest.

One concept that Woods and I talked about tonight was offense and defense: one team defends the goal, the other tees-off; opposing sides can switch after an arbitrary number of goals (five, say) or time limit.

Also, the 3 pointer: any goal made from a distance greater than 75% of the length from skulf to goal.

The sketch...

It's symmetrical, which may or may not be a good idea.

Sketch Two:

Only half the team can spawn on the x-circle tees, the other half of the team spawns on other tees.

A division of labor; half the team drives the ball over the river, while the other half finishes the job.

Problem is, Mano, on a given map (e.g. the last one); if only two players are connected, there are no available skolf balls: we'll have to drop one from heaven after every sinkage.

Arcadia Bluffs

A professional caliber golf course, located in Northern Michigan. There are some beautiful layouts of some of the most difficult holes in the Midwest.

Okay, so I ripped a diagram from a site and just painted some little things to show spawn points and the like, whatever. Thing is, for the mapper, this thing will have to be cut down a TON, but it seems like a great idea. The white lines represent out-of-bounds, that can be either white-lined out-of-bounds-lines OR trees as I diagramed. We'll see, work with it.

Edit: What I meant by offense and defense; Offense=Drivers / Defense=Putters.
