theoretically yes you COULD but I advise against it. They advertise that their stuff is historically accurate (VERY cool in my book) and they show that they temper their blades properly. Itheir catalog, there is this guy who is bending a sword over his head showing how the temper is done right and how it will spring back to 'true'. I bought a sword from them years ago in college but they do not sell it anymore. It is a bastard sword, has 3 fullers and is cool looking. It is unfortunately at my parents' house up in Michigan so I cannot take a pic of it to show you all. It was not $700 but it was more than $100.

anyway here is another one whose catalogs I get but I think the Museum Replicas is better overall . . .
