Heard from ILan today: we're allocated no less than ten (10) of the world's IPs on our machine.  That translates into as many servers of our choice, or at least as many as the old bertha can handle.

Not sure of how needed any additional servers are. A perfect example would be Low Cal Cycle - no one plays on it, and when the Arena is down, it gets switched to a substitute.

On the other hand, it might be worth adding an extra arena for peak times.

Good point, Min; the main thing were consolidating Ventrilo on the same machine and -- gasp, expansion to other games.

Low Caliber Chess on the horizon; an exclusive IRC host; what can't you do with a gigabit OC192?

The Arena is what this club is built around. It's safe to call it our meat and potatoes. Maybe a second arena with the RPG style gameplay that's been discussed is in order. It'll be a different, yet similar substitute to our meat and potatoes arena.

Collegium, I believe, is fantastic. It gives our mappers/skinners/coders someplace to show off their work. If it remains relatively empty to all but members/minors/regulars, so what? It gives them the exposure they deserve, without (hopefully) stressing our machine.

The Rune Chess Mod, which I have yet to see, is something I think we could have a lot of fun with. I mean, hell, we could even add Chess to our ladder software.

Headball has been a lot more fun than I had anticipated. I believe if we cycled one or two from Rune's maps (Montezuma and maybe another..) and one from THUMP. (I believe HB-Ender was the one I liked best.) We may not need to Low Caliberize these at all. If we do, I'd like to keep it to Broad and Roman and Short swords. I believe we could have some moderate success cultivating a Headball server.

Capture the Torch is something we had in the old days; it failed miserably. I believe with one, excellent map, (be it an existing one or something we could create ourselves), we may do well with a CTT server.

The only gametype I don't think we need to venture into is HoV Arena. We've successfully accomplished this gametype within our arena. In our case, we re-invented the wheel successfully.

As you can see, the possibilities are close to endless.
