I'm afraid this game has too much of magic. I wanna be honorfull warrior but in all such games magic is more powerfull. Tell me, please, if I'd only use rusty power in pair with mage will it work? And tell me something about CD Key system, does the game have it?

I haven't really tried a warrior class yet 'cause I like my Vampiric Necro/Monk so much. But on the other hand... I can't get very far without a couple o' Warrior type to help me out. They are much tougher than me and do much more damage with melee. Yeah the CD key thing is kinda weird, you use it once and then you don't even need the CD anymore. The game updates almost daily, so the DL's remain small too. I keep going back to older areas (the game is freakin huge!!!! think Australia) and finding stuff that wasn't there or has changed.
I just hit lvl 18 last night and I amm still way behind. People are always talkin about stuff I have yet to see and I play quite a lot .
I give it three thumbs up and a fourth toe up!

ps Krak what is the command for screenies>?

It should save it in a folder in Guild Wars.

I guess I'll finally post here. I was the first member here to go gaga about this game back then because it was a F2P MMORPG. On the world preview event I made a guild thing and all but didn't have enough skill or whatever... I don't know. I might've uploaded the image here before but I'm uploading again

I was supposed to buy the game when it came out but I had other things to buy. Now I have about $180 in my wallet and can easily go to the gamestore and get it but I need to make sure who plays and where and whatever... I haven't talked to a lot of you in awhile and I don't want to just spend a lot of money (damn games are expensive) on something that I originally planned on ruling my life. On June 22nd or a little later I will definitely be going to the store to buy Battlefield 2. If you haven't played the demo yet, get it now and enjoy because it is fucking amazing. The new gameplay and concepts and squads and teamwork involved is just "HOLY CRAP"... I played with HVH clan earlier and our squad was ranked as top squad with me being top anti-tank on the team and the rest of the squad being top medics and engineers, yada yada. Wrong topic to post that in but OK YEAH I WILL BE BUYING BATTLEFIELD 2 THEN I WILL GET GUILD WARS IF I WISH TO PART WIT HE CASH . If it is a $40 game though then hey I should buy it.

So count me in and such, just get the shit on MSN and talk to me about it because I need it to be worth it . Ice pops are melting nbyebyeybeybe.

hey everyone.... I have new guild wars news for ya. Anyone who can't afford it can enter a PCGamer contest for a free collector's edition of guild wars! And Pencil.... the reason you haven't seen me in BFV for a while is Guild Wars hehe. I cant get enuff and am always up to play more (cept when i HAVE to work boo). I play with 2 buddies here already and we have met a few more peeps from our city, and Kracka plays with us sometimes too. The more the merrier and I am also willing to help new characters out. It is a lot easier with high level friends hehe. I do warn you though... it is really addictive

I could be just paranoid but I think everyone here should be careful trying to buy a second hand copy of Guild Wars. As you do not even need the CD after install the potential for abuse is staggering. Once the CD key is entered you can basically toss the CD, so some unscrupulous people could (and probably have) sold their CDs but still use the key in the CD case....
Just thought y'all should know.

Also it is not computer specific. My buddy has GW installed on his comp and he can log in to his account on my or my roomie's comp. As far as I can tell very little is stored on your comp, mostly on the server.

I now own a copy of Guild Wars. Haven't had time to play it or install, but I will soon.

Its a great game ... im going to buy it as soon as i get some money lol
