Guild Wars came out 1 and 1/2 months ago'ish.
Fairly new game which is why I find it so hard to grasp the VERY low requirements. They must have some pretty tight code.

I GOT GUILD WARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I went with Leigh yseterday and I bought Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Mafia (for $6!) and Guild Wars! The clerk was a nice guy so I got good deal on mafia and I paid the preowned ($27) price for Splinter Cell on a brand new copy. My guild wars box has the green warrior guy on the one side and the white-haired lady on the other... I wanted the brunette .

So I installed it and ran it a little, my account is up and I couldn't think of any better than Broken Pencil for a username and that worked well so hey. I can't wait to get playing with everyone. What's the tally by now, how many of us play?

Krackhead, Mr. Fister, Mano, Socketboy, Pencil, Brutus has it and Woody is getting it. That's a 5-man guild that we can build as soon as Socketboy gets it in the mail. Yay!

And pencil, you should love both SC 3 and Mafia. I have bee replaying mafia and first time playing SC3 recetnly. Grrreat games.

You seriously didn't have to sell us on this game, guys... all we need is "Free To Play MMORPG", heh. So yeah I got it last night and just played today. The huge problem I have is that you two have been playing so long, gotten so far, and none of us will ever catch up. That's fine though, I want to be on par with the newer players like Mano and Socketboy.

I decided to go out of town and fight a few things... I got to Lvl. 2 then headed back to town and just "chilled". It seems like a cool, fun game... just not fun enough when you have no friends to play with! Get on Ventrilo, boys... I don't know what Vent you play on but I want in . I don't want to join a different guild though, we need to make a Low Caliber guild and leave it at that. I don't like my design for the cape and Kracka's colors aren't so fashionable either (sorry, lold). I think we should do white and grey, no? Sorry that I like greyscale so much but it is tough to agree on a color, then again I don't want to have a chess-board guild here. Anyway whatever: Krackhead, I added you to my list, you can see that in the screenshot. Fister didn't post his name, if you did I kinda can't see it there (it is late), add Broken Pencil to yours when you get a chance and give me your name. Oh and I don't plan on playing again until I make up a new character; my name sucks and I don't want to use it throughout my GW career!

Here's the screenshot of mine. I run this on an Athlon64 3500+, 2GB Corsair XMS PC3200 and ATi Radeon X800 XT PE... it plays nicely at 1024x768, 4xAA, highest settings. I drop to like 50fps when I walked into this big battle (didn't join it... it was happening under me)... I can feel it drop but the game is still smooth as smooth can be: I love it.



By the way: MAFIA doesn't fucking run. I got it and installed it TWICE and it crashes when I start it! Is this common, is there a fix? My copy is prepatched, or at least the discs say so on each, to Version 1.2 and when I try to patch it just asks to uninstall (and if I say yes it just unintalls it in like a split second... what the shit?). Aand for Chaos Theory I finally config'd my keys and graphic settings and it plaaays and feeeeels awesome... but I died on the first mission again (I hate that mission, I never beat it in the demo because I never tried... I beat Pandora Tomorrow without cheats though so this should be fun fun fun if I get in the proper mindset). OK ITYPEALOT ENDNENENEND.

EDIT: I found it! Adding Pig Farmer to my list when I login again [I'm getting sick of the autologins in places only saving emails... that myspace crap (which I don't use) has it, gmail used to, this one does... I want autologin without the damn password damnit... its much less safe this way and more annoying... the only thing I have to avoid is Pete packet sniffing on my router and keyloggers... with all this only-saving-email-crap I'm sure a keylogger on there for one second on any pc would be a terribly fatal exploit]. Oh and are you guys in other guilds? Traitorous swine!! You quit your guilds and join Low Caliber because we own your souls!

EDIT X2: OH YEAH I BOUGHT THIS ON MONDAY. MY PHYSICS EXAM WAS ON MONDAY. THAT WAS MY LAST EXAM. SCHOOL IS OUT. I BOUGHT IT ON MY LAST DAY OF SCHOOL. IT IS GOING TO BE A GUILD WARS SUMMER YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!

Pencil I have other characters we just need to meet up once and keep meeting up atthat exact same time.I need to redownload Ventrilo and Fix it up since my Comp got eaten up by a couple of viruses. But ill fix it. O yeah I added you before you had a chance to Send this Picture

Don't know pencil.
Mine is 1.0 and works fine now, and did work fine when I was on 2000 as well.
I never bothered patching it at all. Don't know, never heard about that problem.
When does it happen? Just when you try to start the game?
I am sure you are buys enough with guild wars for now, but it is still a fun 30's GTA style game.

BTW,fedex tracking number says it is on the truck to be delivered.
PLUS, fedex always dilvers early in the day, unlike UPS which will sometimes end up coming at like 5-6 at night

Oh! aaaand, I moved my computer to the basement, so I can vent it late into the night and not worry about waking others up

I read it, we played, it is awesome, I am tired lol. Played from like 10 to 3:30AM tonight and it is a fun fun awesome game, once we get past this stage and I can play with Fisty, I probably won't be able to get off it.

I'm a lvl. 6 warrior training to be ranger with a new lvl. 5 pet (just like Kracka)... actually Kracka and I are pretty much on the same page in this game; if only our parties could have room for Socket. Um um um KJAKDka.d>L:>Dd
