I had a pretty good day hanging out with some of the people hereabouts; gotten to know them quite well, plus working with them sort of builds rapport real quick...yeah going to have really fond memories of one or two of them..

LOL, Licks reminded me, actually...if I were down under, I'd have gone to Centennial Park in Sydney and done a day of barbeques and touch footy or cricket with friends and relatives...It's always interesting, too, who they pick for Australian of The Year, or Young Aust-of-Year...

I think Capt Phillip landed that day in 1788 with the first European settlers/convicts (mostly dissidents), partly because America didn't take them anymore, LOL...

Well, Canada Day on July 1st?

I just watched a movie, "rabbit proof fence" the other night. And that was set in the land down under. Just thought i'd let you know

I wanted to move to Australia .... until I found out it's not just like "Road Warrior".
Nevertheless, Happy Aussie Day! (and may you soon transform into a Post-apocalyptic Paradise )

ps I would volunteer BC for PaP, but we're too green and wet , need a good desert to have cool car battles with swords!

heheh thanks guys, was a great day, huge fire works display, wish i took photos, but my cam ran out from taking pics of plumber cracks. well on the foreshore of the swan river was a riot of about 1000 ppl, lucky i wasnt there.....lucky for them that is haha jks. we just sat on the balcony and chilled out watched the fireworks had a few then had a huge gridlock of traffic on the way home, took me 2 hrs which is norally a 45 min trip, but honestly was a great day/night out
