I'm kinda bored and the forum is looking a bit sluggish so let's spruce dis shit up.

I'm gonna tell you more about who I am and maybe y'all can chime in.



My real name is Rob. I'm originally from Roseville, Michigan which is a suburb about 2 miles north of Detroit. For those Eminem fans, like Obie, he grew up about 4 miles from where I grew up. If you've ever seen the movie 8 mile, it was a complete exaggeration. His house was a shithole but not how he depicted it in the movie. He didn't grow up in Detroit either, he grew up in a suburb called "East Detroit" which was renamed to Eastpointe about 5 years ago. I moved to Mt. Pleasant permanently last summer. I got sick of moving home for the summers constantly. And I think my parents got sick of it too, lol. Now that I'm out of the house they finally have their den. Mt Pleasant is 150 miles from my hometown so it's a comfortable distance.

I just officially became a senior in college last week. (Central Michigan University) But don't worry, I won't be finished until December 2004. My major is Marketing with a concentration in communications and a minor in advertising and promotion. I'm the assistant manager over at the Pickard Street Subway. Yes, it blows and feel free to laugh it up, but the manager title looks great on a resume.

I have two older brothers, one married with a kid, and the oldest is enjoying the single life. My niece is a goofy baby, just like her dad and uncle, lol. She'll be a year old in August. I have a younger sister who's starting to getting into the dating age and I don't like it. I've got a cat that smells more foul than anything you can imagine. Put it this way, I had to buy a can of Lysol for her, I've never even needed one for myself. (though my girlfriend would argue differently.)

Speaking of the girlfriend; we've been together for almost three years now and come August we're moving in together. It hasn't been said but this is basically to see if we can handle living with each other. If we can, which is what I suspect, we'll get married sometime after my graduation. She's an Art/Education major, meaning she plans to be an Art Teacher but will be qualified to teach elementary students too.

My biggest hobbies are fishing and golf. I just got back from a nice fishing and golfing trip. Fishing didn't go so well because the water is still just a bit too cold. When I fish, I prefer to go for pike. They fight like real son-of-a-bitches. And I only have a 12 foot alimunum boat with an 8 horse motor in it. So it doesn't go on Lake Michigan or anything exciting. The golfing went great, one round I made it to the tenth hole before I lost a ball. That's pretty amazing for me. I guess that golf class really straightened out my shot, no more slice.
