I prefer Lavapit over Coliseum, simply because of the weapon spawn at top.

Once someone has a good weapon, it's impossible to get anywhere in Coliseum unless you jump on their head... and once they get rune power, yeeesh...

Lavapit is also a rather no-brainer map, but ehh.

I voted for Coliseum because I dislike the larger maps. Lavapit really isn't too bad; I would rather have it than the gigantic, uh, whatever it's called. The one with three floors and lots of rooms with sliding doors.

Hildir? That's pretty awful too...

Lava Pit is one of the worst maps I have ever played, in the Cycle or out.

Please, please, just take it away.

And what happened to a revival of the member-map cycle? Me like-a that mucho.

They're all kind of awful in a sense. Thorstadt is probably the only decent one, but the lack of weapon-stay and auto-pickup ruins it again.

Agreed, most of the regular maps are dreadful. I would much prefer to see members' maps being used.

LavaPit! i hate coliseum, cause you don't have the time to grab your weapons.

I would like Coliseum, Ruins, Thorstadt, Hel and one member map (preferably a smaller one like diamond or gravplas. The maps I created are way to big for this.

I love lava pit fast pace and no BS get in chop until you die and repeat.

I perfer Coliseum over Lava Pit because there is a better selection for weapons and if you don't want to get killed by the people in the bottom you can punch people in the top. Also if you jump down from the top sometimes you can get a koopa.

You can also get lots of Koopas in coliseum, but there's a lack of weapons, and as soon as some one gets a bunch of weapons, they can get some easy frags, as they're killing people using their fists!
I've played better games on Lavapit than Coliseum.

Gah, I think I misremembered what "Lava Pit" is. I was thinking of that OTHER map in the default Rune DM maps that's laid out like a large circle with a central room (split into two) with a bunch of lava or something in it. Never mind. I actually prefer lavapit to coliseum. It's usually a short game, and I find the fast-paced slaughter hilarious.
