yeah but it is a comfortable quiet. Have you have been talking to a stranger? Well it is uncomfortable to just not talk and you feel the constant need to make small talk. With someone you know well it isn't uncomfortable at all to let silence happen. In fact it can be annoying if you are always trying to keep a conversation going. That is how it is here I think. Don't worry about scrambling to make up topics to talk about. Chill and talk about stuff that comes about natrually.
I just bought a ThermalTake Silent Boost (21dB) at a local computer show.
And and and... my sister wanted to play the Sims 2 on HER PC, not mine, see? And she had an nVidia Vanta 16mb in her PC. So you know what the mother did? Took her out and bought her a fucking ATi Radeon 9600 XT! I own a 9600 Pro so of course instead of installed the XT on hers I gave her my Pro and took that bitch. So now I have a 9600 XT... that makes me sexier than Socketgirl .

I would presume you were the influence to your sister to get a new vid card and well you probably said something along the lines of 9600 XT She just happened to remember that number and thats what she told your mom. I have a ATI Radeon 9600 XT 256mb :P.

i GOT SDOME NEW HARDWARE TOO. mY STEPDAD CAME BY AND SAID HERE i BOUGHT THIS FOR YOU. A black Sony Floppy Drive. Brand new. So im like "uhhh thanks " And I gotta admit it is quite the shiz! it gives my floppy cable somethign to attach to and it doesnt play. Tepes, cds, cd-s's, cd-rw, dvd, mini dvd, eight tracks (lol), flash cards or other assorted media However on occasion it does play floppy disks! Also it has incresed my computers ability to play floppy disks by 100% from before when i didnt have one! lol

No, you see, the thing is... you sure do do that a lot. My system owns yours and I put "my heart" into it, y'see? I know how to use it, maintain it and deal with it all the time. That 9800 Pro is absolutely futile and you don't see me insulting everyone else because of my plans to get an X800 XT soon. Ambition is the death of ye. By the way, I actually gave her an extra 256mb of RAM and a few other things. She owes me for the hacks I had to do to fix up her system and install Sims 2 with corrupt media... really.

Haha dude, I fucking told them to get a 9800 Pro! Was $170 at the computer show but at Best Buy it was $300! So they bought this XT for $200 ($50 more than my Pro in December). I wish they did get it but hey, leaves more desire for a massive upgrade, yes? That 256mb 9600 XT just isn't for me because of overclocking. Mine is using some wicked Samsung chips (like yours, eh?) and great supposedly-stable thermal throttling so while yours is better for 3D Design, mine is better for manipulation and overclocking (the 256mb likely doesn't OC as well at all). Plans are from 500/300 to 580+/340 max, which should be awesome. Everything works for everyone .
