I really would like to know I was 1503 today and in one match I won with 21 kills and 10 deaths and it took away 30 points..

Rank is not a good indicator of one's skill, nor even of the popular impression of that.

I'm sure it shall be refined in the future, but at present, it's mainly a toy. Please do not let it affect your fights.

I know that.. I was just wondering..

It's a complicated algorithm that only the coder (Unter) really knows.

It was based on World Chess rankings - everyone starts with a 1200 ranking and moves up or down from there. It changes depending on many things; including kill/death ratios and strength of kills (ie how high were your opponents ranked.)

Don't take it too seriously right now, it needs some tweaking. When it gets tweaked, the stats will be backdated to include everything that we've collected over the last year.
