I'm gonna go somewhere along instrumental but not synthetic like that cheap trance material. I'm in the process of finding natural sampled VST plugins. I had to double my HDD space since those things are huge. 2GB of storage space for Piano alone :/

On the plus side, a virus just wiped my harddrive clean so I gained some extra space

What are the file formats that Rune will understand. I could probably dig something up.

Gregorian chant is cool. So is a good instrumental, but whenever I hear one made on the keyboard I find myself wishing it used real instruments. Gothic ambience is my favorite type of ambients.

i'm also "Kurious" about adding sounds to the game...
you know at the start of co-op there's are voices taunting ragnar, insults etc etc...
do you think these can be added to the actual standard taunts or upon an event, like when a behaeading or KO occurs?
i tried to read about it in runegame forum, but got terribly lost...help? i'm thinking it has to be done through RuneEd? import/exporting sounds?

btw mano, it's occurred to me that your rune sound -vent problems may be similar to my previous FPS sound things when i had a SB live card...

i was fiddling a bit and found that if i disabled directsound in that game and toned down the hardware acceleration in the control panel/sounds, then those weird artefacts disappeared, without noticeable change to my game experience...
