I now go to install my watercooling system and move my stuff into a new case I got. If I don't come back I probly fried my system somehow. I'll post a pic later.

Haha wow. Watercooling... yum. When you get back or so, could you tell me the exact system you're setting up, as I need to go hunting for that shtuff also (...looking into an Athlon64 3400+)... or if it is cheap enough, I can watercool the 3200+ I have now, as 42ºC idle just isn't cutting it for me, especially since I can't have the door closed, etc, while gaming and stuff (too hot! 61ºC!).

My CPU is as cool as a butterfly Gaming 36C!!!!!

However i am not releasing what it is. Muahahahahahahaha.

And should I get the Vantec Aeroflow 2 or a watercooling system for my new system

I am running idle at like 55 and then doom 3, rune, and sacred have all locked up right away, seemingly from overheating. From all the reviews I saw it was cooling great, so I think something is amiss.
I install it becase it is overheating *sometimes* in games and now it is way worse. Locks up right after I get in....
So thats gay and yeah. We'll see

Oh man, that's horrible. Watercooling is expensive and not too much better than aircooling if you compare pricing. $100 to get it 45ºC full load, etc. Hopefully you can fix it up, its probably user error.... because even my old AMD stock fan can keep it under 55.

By the way, if it makes you feel any better, I can play Doom 3 just fine without it locking up . (Oh, and in case you didn't get it yet like the rest of the world, check out the Duct Tape mod).

lol that is what I am saying. I hope I can figure out how to fix it because my old stuff was stock stuff and it did better than this. AND I had to get a new case for this because it wouldn't fit in my old one. And for what? pfft.
I don't know though because I saw several reviews where it was running under 50 even at a load of gaming or something. It got a lot of good marks on all the stuff I saw so I don't know why it is jacking up my system.

Yeah I got a mod that was called im a wimp or wuss mod and you get flashlight with all guns, increased clip on some, increased max ammount of ammo on all and shotgun shoots like 4X faster. I didn't try it yet though because I wanted to beat it on marine normally then I was gonna do the mod for nightmare. If I can get my PC cool enough. Pfft.

dude i haven't played much of doom3 . . . after watching ur friend beat it on veteran in like 15 hours it gets a lil old . . . plus it just scares the shit outta me

Hehe, Doom 3 does kind of scare the shit out of my sometimes... in the beginning I hated it because I didn't know what was going to happen next. I'm not scared of the models or anything, but rather the way it always takes me by surprise. Being one to loathe horror films, I'm surprised how much I like Doom 3 .

That mod I got was the original Duct Tape mod... however, I opened up pak001.pk4 and stole the flashlight6.tga so it has a bigger light, etc... which is much much better than the small light, though just a little bit smaller than the regular flashlight for some reason. I think I'll get to the other mod so I can do a little muix of the mod myself, where "MOST" guns, not just machine gun and shotgun, have a light. I love that chaingun, really need to get a light on that sucker . But yeah, get that mod instead.... trust me in that having a flashlight on some weapons makes Doom a lot more enjoyable, especially when you can see what you're shooting. And if you want one gun or even less guns to have a flashlight, mod it yourself like I'll be trying. Weeeeee.

too bad it wouldn't fit. I am keeping the other one though, perhaps forever. For use as a secondary system next time I upgrade. Maybe a cool lookin firewall someday. Who knows. But yes I spent a lot of time on it and it looks sweet. I aint giving that up.
