This is the NEWS "channel", where Unter and Co will post news about LCC belongings and stuff.

I think you should make another page for news in forum (beside 'general' and 'work in progress')with closed topics(news).

Cant do that ... I have moderator status, but can't do anything more than the others right now. Hope Unter can fix that. If I abuse the rights, you can fire me.

You now have the ability to close your threads; if something is of enduring importance we can make it a "sticky" so it stays at the top of the forum.

A more long-term solution might be updated news-type content on the front page; neatly stamped and organized with "blog" software.

Sorry Unter but I dont know how. I dont see any link or so, to do say that Maybe you could email some help.

If you've posted the topic you can edit it and choose "close topic" underneath.

In line with the ideal of free and liberal expression, however, I'd urge you rather to invite commentary.  If it's of genuine interest, the public will pay attention before we'll be persuaded by stickies and capital letters.

Indeed commentary is the only effective means to gauge what is of genuine interest.
