I hate to see UdÜ and anyone else applicable slaving away in the code mines merely for our enjoyment.

Seeing how UdÜ is studying law and philosophy(whatever good may come out of that) and I'd assume he has a job, I find it hard to believe I'm not able to find the time to contribute while having a few hours of school/homework and some side jobs.

Anyways, for starters where would I find the Arena map? I checked my cache folder and from my best judgement it would be the 129679574C440DCDA94090B508BC0C5E.uxx file.

I attempted to change the extension to .run and open it with ED, but no go. So fill me in on how to retrieve the map if possible. I bet I can figure it out myself... but why

And now the big question. How in general would I go about diggin a hole in the wall. That's right you heard me.

Say if I want a simple square shaped tunnel. Would it be as simple as adding 4 vertexes on the wall surface and 4 within the wall or would this require total reconstruction? Keep in mind you're talking with a RuneED noob here.

You get the wall, then build a second shape (this is gonna be the hole), place the second shape inside the wall and hit 'substract'(this will substract the second shape from the wall (hope u get this ..i'm not a good teacher ).
U must 'rebuild' the map after this.

Yep dude nice, entirely. So with the same concept it seems if you hit "add" you would fill a shape instead of clearing it.

Well I got home after 7 hours today, longer day than I expected. And I still have a bunch of maxtors to test and RMA + a CD Drive to fix.

I just checked out ED. I loaded the .run file Imp posted ^ and it will not load. No error messages but nothing in the editor.

The default maps load no problem but LCA will not, whyyy? Am I missing something?

It works perfectly here. Try to open it from the Ed; don't use "edit this file with RuneEd"
