Great movie, good special features .. all the good ol characters with the same plot. Awesome fighting scenes. Was a little corny at some parts but what do you expect from a pg-13 movie

i rate it a 7 outa 10 (5 if you dont like vampire movies.)
(BTW preview says as much action as raiders of the lost arc.. I happen to have watched that in the last couple months and that movie has some pretty crappy action lol)

Yeah my sister said she liked it a lot more than underworld...

It was a bit of everything. Vampires, Werewolves, Frankenstein and Dr. Jeckyl/Mr. Hyde. Not to shabby. From my stand point on 3d animation I would say it has some very good artists and well thoughtout special effects. 7.5 / 10

I saw it, my girlfriend liked it, but I wasn't too thrilled with how...comical it was. I guess that was the point of the movie, but I prefer movies that are serious and down to the point with death and destruction Though I must agree that some of the action was cool, the special effects were awesome, and the vampire chicks were hot as hell. I wouldn't mind having them hang on me like that!

Underworld was better

Where Underworld was great, Van Helsing was shit. They used all the easy tricks and made just a kiddy story. They got so many things false. All in all it was just a idiotic movie with a hot woman und some nice special effects.

Underworld was by far much better.

The only reason why underworld was lacking to some people was because they were expecting vampires and werewolfs to be fuckin each other up the entire movie total action movie.. but it was actaully ment to be a romantic move about how a vampire and a werewolf endedu p lovin each other despite their long years of hunting and killing each other.. Good move if you dont look at it as a action movie!

Guh, how desturbing is that? Giant dogs pounding the undead from behind? Not to mention that they are both about half savage when they meet so I'd hate to see the mess they leave behind
