Well it came in today . No I went to a local music school for about 3 years when I was much yonuger.
Funny story. I at first wanted to play the drums. But unlike a guitar, a low end drum set cost more money (a low end drum set costing $500, were a low end guitar costs $60 to $200). So my dad said he would get me a drum set if I could learn to play the guitar well. Thinking it was just a fad and I would never get that good at guitar. Alast 3 years latter the money was just not there so I never got my drums.
Now that I got a full time job I went out and got me a good guitar. In a year or 2 I'll probly finaly get me a drum set. But its unlikely to stop there lol . A mandelin, bass guitar , bag pipes and a violin are my list of things I'd like to learn to play also.
Very few people that are seruos about music stick to only one thing.

a violin is not the best things to learn by yourself, i've found, even with excellent teaching...
i learnt for about 6 years and finally stopped simply cos i didnt have time to go to orchestral practice and extra stuff with it..

Woohoo. Gibson has stoped makeing my guitar. Hopefully this will lead to the value of my guitar going up enoth that I can sell it and buy an even more expensive guitar LOL.

I went through the Guitar thing.... and still own a low end Epiphone. Once i tried my hand at turntables, I pretty much lost interest (occasionally i still plinka-plunk away) in my gi-tar.My twin Technics w/ good stylus cost me almost the same as yer Gibson hehe ($1900+change),and I run them through my 500 watt Crate amp. Now I also have access to a record press , so peeps can't even say i'm not a real musician!
NOTHING sounds sweeter than LFO from the commodore transferred onto sweet sweet Vinyl!
