Well alright then....

First of all, just wanted to say hi, to everyone in the forums (and in-game too, of course).

As y'all might have noticed (when chopping my head and arms off), I am a newbie.

I haven't had a computer for 4 years... And thus no Internet. (Don't ask why).

And therefore I am pretty new to this game, I've tried it out a couple of times (about 5, actually) and I'm not quite used to chopping people with swords, mainly since the last game I really played was Quake 1.

Hence I have some questions;

1.) Does all the other servers, except this one suck?
The reason for asking, is because every other server I've joined, people have been jumping up and down like crazy, swinging large hammers at my head. There was no way, I'd have a chance against them (especially since I prefer.... "Smaller weapons".)

2.) The Scoreboard; How does this thing work? (I know it's a stupid question). High rank = Good, or Low rank = Good?

Other than that, I'd like to say that I appreciate all you guys for "fair fighting". It is a very rare thing these days (especially on the net).

Everyone starts off with 1200 just for playing; after that, you gain points for each kill.  More points for higher-ranked players and less for lower-ranked players; the converse works for dying.

as for question 1: this is a good place to start and learn things; i was fortunate enough to run into people who gave me good help and explanations. but you sound pretty cluey and you already found this site.
but of course you'll decide for yourself what style of play you prefer, whether jumping up and down as you mentioned, or otherwise.

This is by far the best server around for this game. People are cool for the most part, you got some nice moves happening already, seeya in the arena.

Well, first of all thank you guys for all the answers and welcoming phrases.

It's nice to see that people still have decency, somwhere on the internet.

And as for Furious Weasel, I take your word for it, that this is the best server... Tried most others, but thought that this arena was by far one of the more fun experiences I've had. And people treat eachother respectfully, so I think I'll sign in as life-time member .

And for the rest of you guys out there, I'd gladly fight you all in the arena (one at a time, all at a time.. =) It's great mayhem fun.

As for your question, Shady... No my name is not Joel and my dad wouldn't even know how to fold open a regular wheelchair....

And finally one more stupid question;

Are there different moves, based on which key combination you press, or is it just (as I prefer to call it) Nintendo Teqniche (don't know how to spell that, hope you know what I mean), whereas you just push as many buttons as you can at the same time? (I have started figuring some "moves" out, but am eager to learn more...=)

Just played a game with you and YellowHair, sure, you're not the best, but pretty good for a Newbie. Don't worry, you'll get better as you play more, and I hope to play many more games with you!

But I've moved around so lot, between Denmark and Sweden, that I've always prefered speaking English, instead of having to change language all the time...

And until 4 years ago, I had internet, since... Well, since we used BBS'es, instead of www. Hence I had to speak English with people =), etc., etc. Won't bore you with long stories of my life. =)

Dante; Well, it took me a couple of years, catching on to the Danish language... It's kindda like talking with something stuck in the back of your throat.... As we use to say in Sweden; Danish isn't a language.... It's a sound.

Can hardly imagine how hard it must be for an aussie to learn...

Ministration; Your mace technique will probably keep beating me up for another month or so... But I'm getting a hold of some moves now
