Since today my ventrilo get diconnected too often and reconnect automaticaly and half of the thing tha I said go in the void and I did not got any error message please help.

SOMETHING NEW, I got a message about my imput device get too much information or something like that.

Try changing your input device, at one point i had the same problem and that seemed to solve it.

In vent my ping go from 40 to 25000 I think but I'm not sure that I got a problem.

In your control panel, sound audio devices, voice tab, then advanced on sound device I think... what is it set to, speakers or headset? I got that same error a few times.

Here is something I found on the Ventrilo FAQ.

Q: I use a Sound Blaster Live/Audigy and run Windows 98/ME. When I join a game I can't hear incoming voice streams or I can't hear the game sounds.

The default settings for maximum number of sound streams in the Creative drivers for Windows 9x based systems is set to low. Follow these directions and it should start working.

Start Creative's AudioHQ program... Should be able to find it here...

StartButton / Creative / SoundBlaster Live! / AudioHQ

Then double click on Device Controls icon... It should be sitting on the "Wave" tab by default when it opens... There should also be a slider titled "Maximum simultaneous wave playback"... By default mine was set to 4... Try bumping this up to 16 or 32 and then run Ventrilo, your games, whatever and see if you still have the problem... It might require a reboot to take effect.

I had that same problem Ulf. Did you read the lil error message that came up? Mine said something along the lines of, "Ventrilo was closed. It is sending data much faster than it should be. Try using direct sound for input device."

I went into setup, clicked the voice tab on the top left, and around the TOP right of the setup -voice window, there's a lil box you can check, it says on it, Use DirectSound for Input Device. If you click that, i bet any money you won't have that problem anymore.
