played demo of crysys - trees get chopped in half by a few rounds from an ak while a korean eats lead for breakfast and asks for seconds.

oblivion - not rewarding enough.

witcher demo - fighting sucks

lol ture that about crysis.
As it turns out, the air is almost as dense as watter, so far away it doesn't hurt them at all. You can't "snipe" with an AR like you could in farcry.

I have always loved Civ games. Never played anything but demos though.

I liked UT3 - I just couldn't run it

Ovlivion - beat it. Fun game, really time consuming and open ended though.

Witcher - didn't try the demo but I am almost done with the second chapter. Really like this game - it is refreshingly different from most action RPGS. Everything about it I have to say I like. Can't think of any complaints for it except I wish it ran faster on my PC.

Bottom line, I need a new PC.

That, and I want crimsonland 2 to come out.
Oh rune 2 as well

hahah vanilla. Nope I have a lot of mods. I downloaded like 40 - probably have about 15 of those running when I played. I still have some stuff to beat for the knights of the nine expansion that I haven't messed with yet.

But yeah, I have added spells, a thing where you can whistle for your horse, stuff that makes stuff like fireballs and arrows fly faster (more realistic), stuff that makes the guards a little less psychic, stuff that makes the physics more entertaining (guys and stuff go flying around a bit more), I have a cheater ass hood that protects vampires from the sun so that you can actually be a vampire without getting bored, also I some stuff that added I think a merchant that you can buy blood potions from, and then it makes the vampire effects reversed - in the game the longer you go without drinking blood the more powerful you get, but then when you do you go back to all weak, so it makes it that you have to drink blood to stay powerful, and the longer you go the weaker you get.
I also have about 6 or 7 I think added locations to explore with quests and all.
A few that add items and special armor. I special block where you "melt down gold" to create lockpicks on site (though I have the master lockpick now so I don't need it)
I have these placeable statues that you can basically place where ever and dress them in your unused armor and weapons and pose them - those are pretty cool.
Oh and one I downloaded that I heard good things about recently where you can get a dragon and fly around on it or something. Have yet to try it

Oh and a must have - the mod that changes the flowers and plants when you pick them. Usually they look the same and you just can't pick more, this will make them disappear or significantly change the model/texture so you can tell what you have picked and what you haven't.

Then I have one where it is "realistic encumbrance" - in the game, you can be hauling around tons of gear, and then you pick up a strawberry, and you suddenly can't move if you are over your limit. So this makes it once you hit your limit, when you pick up more you slowly start slowing down instead of instant stoppage.

In my opinion nothing game breaking, but makes it more fun.

Some other random things.

Also FYI, really fun to find high cliffs to jump your horse off of (and kill it).

Really was a pretty awesome game.

Um - by default in the game, there are like 4 levels of vamp I believe.

You start out th weakest one - which is still stronger than normal but I think has a greater vulnerability to fire and then if you are out in the sun you get sun damage.

Then every night that you go without drinking blood, you get more "wild" it says and your vampire characteristics get more pronounced. You jump higher, have more mana, are stronger, etc.

But also you weaknesses become greater and your appearance changes so you look more vamp like and then people in town won't want to talk to you and sell you stuff.

When you drink blood, you shoot back down to the level 1 vamp that is weaker, but looks more normal and doesn't have as much vulnerability.

The mod I got makes it so you look normal and are the most powerful to start out, but you have to drink blood to keep it up. When you don't is when you'll start going down in level and getting more monster looking.

I just liked that better because it fit more with vamps to me it seemed like. Because the default way it is almost a bad thing to drink blood because it would sap you of your powers.

But yeah full power vamps are cool. If you have high acrobatics and are a vamp you can pretty much be jumping all over the dang place from rooftop to rooftop in some towns.
Pretty fun.

Understandable - me too.
And Oblivion is one of those games that definitely requires some ample freetime.
