Well boys, looks like another subscription-based game has gone free. First Savage, then Lineage 2 (sorta, cracked servers are usable and abundant; I can't get that one to run yet though) and now Anarchy Online. The catch is that it is only free for a short time.

If you register an account before January 15 and you will get your free subscription. I made my account and it is extremely easy, I downloaded the client and just need to install and login. Mind you, the subscription only lasts until January 1st, 2006, but I doubt I'll be playing hardcore in a year.

If you're interested, act fast, at least just set up an account and install the game whenever you feel like it. Pretty neat deal and we all love free games. It looks ugly but at least it seems pretty cool and it's nice to be able to see what people are spending $12 per month just to play... Woody and Mano and Socket and ULF if interested, I want to see you guys in there , we'll set up a guild and all (Mano, pfft, doesn't matter if you have time or not to play MMOs because since it is free I'm fine with you just hopping in for like 2 games in your whole lifetime ).

I downloaded the client off of the German FTP at the bottom using FlashFXP, only took 40 minutes.

Yeah I sawd that a bit ago... I decided not to get it because I don't have time to play games as it is.
But if all you are going to be playing it... well then who knows.

ahhahah yeah I havn't got it yet. Free or not, I think I have more than enough good games that I have paid for to play and take up my free time.
