They got around to fix the dodgy hit detection in BF2 yet?

eh, i wouldn't know what you're talking about, but i haven't had any problems with hit detection.

at the same time i'm not one of the countless whiners who complain about cs:s hitboxes and crap, but honestly when i shoot someone in bf2 and think i killed him, i killed him. i guess. knife hit detection needs work though lol... and shock paddles just the opposite, great range to kill an enemy, no range to heal a mate.

The shoddy hit detection, with which you eg. could shoot someone (standing perfectly still) point blank in the face multiple times without anything happening (other than wasting ammunition...)

Pretty damn annoying in actual playing... expending one mag after the other, futilely trying to take down an enemy soldier, by hitting - and not really hitting after all, and then have him turn on you and one-shot kill you (with a tiny peashooter).

oh, well i can't say i've had any problems. i pick off snipers with the british L85A1 no problem, so long as i can compensate for the random spread.... and in other cases i use a G36E and burst fire at range is surprisingly dead on (can't remember the last time i sprayed-n-prayed).

maybe this explains why so many people suck at infantry when i face them, either that or they don't know how to point-and-click without armor. afaik there are no peashooters... small calibre handguns like the M92 or smg's like an mp5 do relatively accurate damage for 9mm, assuming you hit them.

yeah i suddenly have no interest in playing anything that's not SWAT 4, CoD 2 and Battlefield 2... i play these all the time with a friend in the same room or online and no other games come close to the fun. at all.

I am lovin the CS Source GUN mod. You start with pistols and level up by killing... kinda new/fun

Nah Pennie, such a brainless fan of Unreal serial like me just must have a legal copy. At least to tell friends: "look how cool am I, I'm one of a little ammount of russian gamers who have it"
