Australia has *no* real culture, since our history doesnt have any real interesting bits npieces....we kinda hang onto USA's coattails - see the recent foreign affairs "soladarity" from my prime minister...diverting attention away from his failed taxation and medicare policies...tsk tsk..we're such a mix of mediterranean, asia, UK, US, etc

lol, what languages do people know...i did like two years italian, 2 years french but none of that matters...mandarin chinese i'm fairly fluent..
but i did do, hehe, 6 years classic greek and latin, nearly all of which i've forgotten...
oh, and 2 years japanese...

i'm wondering, cos i remember mano's nationality breakdown and hearing about unter's idea of identifying that...all very interesting to me... ...lol we could even get lowcaliber constitution translated eh?

as you all know: i speak german because i am german. i speak english, because i leran it at school and because i'm listening to american music (e.g. mudvayne, slipknot, marilyn manson)
i'm able to speak some russian, but i hate that language because of the grammar. i try to learn delphi 7, too.

I tried to learn French, never got very far... right now I'm working on teaching myself Irish Gaelic.

i know a bit of japanese, im fluent in english and im getting better and my aussie slang words, all sounds a bit strange from a guy with a scottish accent tho :P

Well for me I know English and the stupid french from Quebec, Canada (Damn you Quebeciers **Shaking Fist Violently**). I hope to learn German in a few years.

I am currently in a Multimedia/Web Designing Course. I will be following that course up with a 3D Animation Course this September.
I know several programming languages. HTML, Visual Basic, Basic, Javascript, Java, Lingo and Actionscript. I am in the process on learning XML, MySQL, XHTML, CSS and PHP.
I work with the industry leading programs such as Photoshop, Maya, Director, Flash and Dreamweaver. Thats just a little info. about me.

Music, first and foremost: Bach fugues.  Throw in computer; and then the manly tounges: English, French, German, Greek, Latin, Sanskrit, Hebrew, Spanish, Latvian; all in various stages of imperfection.

PS.  Identification going well; we've now registered 246 national flags on Rune from Andorra to Zimbabwe.  They should make a nice complement to the scoreboard.

I stick to Beethoven, Everlast and some BlackPlague.
Languages: Romanian, English, Latin, Italian, lost pieces of French and German, and lots of curses -a must know for everyone- in Russian (mother Russia) and Yugoslavian.

Kinda like classical but very eerie. Like something you would hear in an Undersea show lol.
As far as I can gather... they replace the #0-9 with an octave +/- 1 note, then "play" complex fractal equations. Quite beautiful

Sorry about that Ulfhednnir. I am just angry at the way they teach french over here in Saskatchewan. It is really stupid. I am sure if we had French teachers that were actually french it would be a lot better.

English, obviously. I know tidbits and phrases in French, German, Polish and Italian (used to date a lot of italian women, lol) But I honestly have no idea what the hell is going on when I run into someone that speaks these langauges.

I know a little Spanish, not a whole lot but I remembered most nouns from years of high school Spanish. When a Spanish speaking customer comes into the ol' workplace, my employees get me to take their order. I think I've got a knack for foreign languages, I just don't have the time or the patience.

Back in the old days, (1996-ish), I used to write webpages by hand. I knew the basics of html pretty well. I'm a little rusty now but if need be I could shake it off. Oddly enough, I quit with web design when I started using programs like Frontpage98.

I haven't forgotten about UScript either, Unter, lol. Last time I tried to get started, I couldn't lol.

I know a little bit of Spanish and Japanese, barely enough to get by in a conversation.

C, C++, BASIC, Visual Basic, Java, Javascript, Assembly and HDL (various forms), HTML (not really a language), Scheme, Lisp, Prolog, Perl, Ada, Pascal, and some others I wouldn't consider myself proficient in (i.e. Smalltalk, Python, SQL).
