Mano, Widow, Figured out part of the problem we had the other night: SongSnd.uax was uploaded and corrupted; admin access has been taken care of and after I laboriously upload the thing again (lol) we should have some coop action later this week if not already tonight.

Unter, Sorry about the corrupted file...I think that one was a joint effort between Mano and myself (lol). I think co-op play should be loads of fun. Just let me know when, where, and what time. I'll bring the liquor.

What do I need to join in the fun. Co-op is a new term to me if you can believe that.

Here you can read about Co-op; it's makes for a good time to go through the single player game with a couple comrades. The main thing that has marred co-op play in the past has been the questionable quality of some of the home-grown rigs; I figured we could try it out on our Boston system. Keep your eyes out for some tweaks (radar, team fire, etc.), and we should be able to throw together a Low Cal version.

it's a good sized download, Mid so you better hop to it. You can get a link to a download site on runegame.com

Okay, boys; we're in bizwackiensis as the Romans used to say. You'll find it under “Rune co-op server” or 66.151.183.220, as there's a couple things I'd like to take care of before we brand it a “Low Cal co-op”:

I have to say I think the Co-op was alot of fun. Of corse like most Co-op games I have played it needs work, but I think it could be a nice addition to LCC. Overall, I thought the performance good. I think everyone in the game experienced a slightly higher ping, but generally it was smooth. By the way note to self: don't play Co-op as a Zobie. It tends to distract the attention of other members. Otherwise, I had lots of fun. LOL

Sounds awesome, but where can we download it other than from the very essence of evil? Both links on RuneGame.com lead us straight to hell. (btw I'm referring to FilePlanet :P )

yeah, minist, maybe someone will put it up on ftp?...yeah, otherwise i did have to register with fileplanet to get the chunky 50 meg file...but then again i play quite a few games so i sold my soul to that place a long long time ago...hehe...if you reallly want drop me your email and i'll give you my reg details or just create a dummy account... i agree with wids...it was much fun..except sometimes all the lever pushing is hard to coordinate....we had fais who knew **EVERYTHING** and li'l me who often struggled to keep up...i'd say you have to have finished single player to be effective...especially all those jumping bits (argh!!)... i don't think it matters much whether people want to either race through to next level or milk each level for all kills...eventually the team will find a balance... and, btw, ventrilo makes it a whole lot easier to communicate...and some maps such as thorstadt are easier on my ping than the hell levels... well, sry for calling everyone by truncated names...it's just me aussieness... fais really tore through those zombies , and um mid that was a major rampage lol? messy1.JPG (62 Kb, 214 downloads) eats zombies for breakfast

some really humungous maps there, with lots of levels...especially in hell, hehe... so would radar actually be useful? i already see names floating around in the distance... and team fire will certainly add spice and danger to the map...i mean wids would have carked it several times from his fellow teammates ripping into him (it was accidental hehe, i swear!!)......hint dont play as darkviking in thorstadt maps either... just wondering, is it possible to make the vampire rune become a "team" vampire?...ie whole team gets the suck of blood? it'd be sweet but difficult i guess?

Yeah Dante, I think I am going to be Kermit or Popeye the next time we play Co-op. Hopefully the odds of friendly fire will be low, that is unless ya hate frogs or sailors. Gezz, can't a zobie get a little love around here. Where's the love man?

hey wids, we loves ya...we (me especially) just blind, that's all....hehe... hey zombs get all the love from miss Hel...you heard us talking about her having an eternity with nothing but BONE to play with and how it could be good considering it keeps going and going and going and going....MUAHAHA... dont go miss piggy though, or i'll have to strangle ya... personally i'll go elmo, that little bugger gets lotsa love...
