regardless of teh definitionof private, i sure didnt think someone that i wasnt playing with was for some, ungodly reason, listening to what the peopel playing were talking about.

Nothing you said in "private" (don't forget that the world sees the server log) bothered me so much as that we were "madly lustful" for you; an insinuation which you had discretely shouted from the rooftops.
