Kenshin says that Midknight decries me as being an annoying child over the voice chat, which I cannot hear, while publicly smiling to my face. Now, I do not necessarily believe that. However, I think this should be brought up, one way or the other. If it is true, then I think Midknight should tell me himself that I am annoying. And if enough members echo the sentiment, I should probably leave (not from some sense of martyrdom, but simply becaues common sense dictates that it would be foolish to remain). If, however, it is not true, then Midknight has the right to know that he is being accused of this by Kenshin.

Whatever happened to coming here for a bit of fun? I don't think I'll want to frequent the server, as cool as it is, if I have to constantly worry about who thinks I am annoying and who doesn't. It's bad enough when they blurt it to my face. But then, I suspect that this is bullshit fabricated by Kenshin to make me feel bad. What is it?

Maybe you needa STFU and not get into everything I say one thing to a person they he butts right in and starts something same thing happend before and he wonders why I dislike him.

You complained that Ministration kicked you forty five times (yes, it was that many times, people) for no real reason. I told you why he kicked you, and suddenly you jump down my throat with this "you annoying child, no one likes you" bit. He kicked you because of your mouth, and because you were taking cheap shots. If I tell you that, you should be thankful for the information so that you can change the bad habits and not get kicked any more. The worst thing to do is hack into me for volunteering that information. I didn't attack you, and it is foolish of you to read that as an attack.

Really, this isn't about that. This is about Midknight's alleged statements to the effect that I am annoying. I quite like Midknight, and it would greatly disappoint me to learn that he finds me annoying, but I'd quite rather know, even if it led to my leaving, then remain ignorant.

And if he does not find me annoying, then I am perfectly happy to let the matter rest. I am not concerned with your beef with Ministration. I offered you advice about it, and you turned and attacked me. I've learned my lesson there.

You know, I was just waiting for someone to say that... I suppose at the moment, it could look kinda odd, the way we bounce back and forth, taking turns playing... but yes, we have played at the same time on many occasions. Rhoedd's computer is down, so he's using mine for a bit... and we can't play together. But there's plenty of people who have seen us together; and besides, I think our fighting and writing styles would give us away anyhow.

Also I don't like it when I am told to kick or expose people for something that they always do. I will only use my powers when I feel fitting to do so.
Reason I asked you Rhoedd about how old you were, was to figure out a little background to you and Yellowhair. Who was the little sis/bro and who was the older one. That is all I wanted to know.

As far as I know, nobody's talking shit on Ventrilo. I'm there as often as anyone else. Nobody had any major problems with you Rhoedd, just some minor crap but after that night about a month ago when I said you needed to lighten up, I haven't heard a single complaint.

Take into consideration who's telling you these things. Kenshin will do anything to piss someone off, take what he says with a grain of salt.

Well, Midknight, I know I'm not a member. I can't afford it. However, I like the majority of the people on this server. I'm sorry if I seem to take liberties. As for my constant requests for kicking, well, that's just a sort of habitual knee-jerk reaction. I didn't mean to presume to tell you how to run your job.

What do you mean with can't afford it? It's for free. Just ask the question and there may be a vote for that.

Huh? I keep hearing that you have to pay to be a member. Isn't that why half of the members left? Someone said it is twenty dollars a month, although I have a hard time believing that. And if it's true, then I'd guess that somebody is making a small fortune off of this, even if you account for bandwidth costs. You can get ADSL for that price.

its a contribution, and its only assumed that those willing to contribute would actually do so...no-one is being coerced...its called 'membership' because its assumed only gainfully employed members would be able to or are willing to contribute to the upkeep of 2 dedicated professional servers, ventrilo, the website + UNTOLD man-hours...
factor in how long this place has been running for and that someone's sacrfice and time is kinda hard to quantify...
this place is certainly going to be recognised as a non-profit organisation soon, with the investments put back into even more features for the future...

so dunno, i think we're going to come up SHORT every time even with contributions...
the people making a small fortune are those who come here to enjoy the servers, don't you think?

Seriously though, the general public may not contribute. Minorship is the road to membership but it's not a one way street. Future minors will seriously be considererd for membership if they chose to contribute. Never forget, the internet may be abstract, like television and radio. But unlike television and radio, it's not free.

what's truely sad is that even if we did have to pay that 1.70...i still probably couldn't afford that

It's gone down to about a dollar and fifty cents per gallon here. I have a twelve gallon tank. I'm not too keen on mathematics.

I think I paid $1.67 (16 gallon gas tank)
