Nah, it's not a bug with the map, it's a bug in Rune. Sometimes when I start the game up, no matter what game I join, the game speed seems to be cranked way up. Of course, the increase in game speed is only felt by me, so every 5 seconds my animation plays but I can't move.

What the hell is this? I reinstalled Rune twice now, and it still happens enough to be a serious pain in the ass.

get a job and sign up for cable.

Got DSL.

First set your net connection to modem (in Multiplayer-Player setup).
Then turn off dynamic lightning in video options.
If this doesn't work, see what resident programs do you have and try to disable them.
... and do a virus check

Mt. Pleasant has no mountain and ain't so pleasant because the Dow Chemical plant is about 30 miles away so I don't get it.

Mano, Flin Flon has a weird ass (pretty stupid) story behind it. There's this book called the The Lost City that the founders of this city were reading at the time. In the story, the book's protagonist, Flintabaty Floniton, discovered a lost city enlaid with gold to mine. Anyways, longish story short, they named the city after Flintabaty Floniton - shortened to Flin Flon...

Alright, I just tried logging onto the server about 5 times and all 5 times this stupid thing kept happening. I tried those things you mentioned, Imp, and thank you for helping, but I don't think this stupid thing's gonna get fixed.

It seems that my whole game is running at a faster speed - even the guys that smash up the rock at the beginning are in fast forward.

and I have no idea what's wrong with your game. Is your copy legit? How long does this speed stuff last?

Yea it's legit, and it happens about 75% of the times I start up Rune. Restarting my computer seems to do the trick if I restart it enough times... heh. When it happens, it lasts every time I run Rune until I restart, then I start trying over again.

try the adanced settings tab found in the game options menu or check game.ini
