well...it's been a while since i've been on the boards or in any maps...been busy trying to finish up high school, and my culminating senior project which will decide whether or not i graduate. i've been applying to colleges all over and applying for scholarships, and right now it's looking like i'll most likely be attending Washington State University this fall which is where i really want to go. after my ex girlfriend tried to pull a fake pregnancy bit on me about 2 months ago i've moved on and am now seeing an older girl that graduated from my school last year...i had my wrestling season this winter and it was my final year of wrestling after 12 years and it was not quite what i would have liked it to be, but oh well...anyway, i just thought i would drop in and say hi and let you guys know i'm still alive, with any luck i can get some games in within the next couple weeks. later all

Ahh the senior project!!
I was supposed to do one, but because our calss was the first senior class ever, they made it optional! heh

Senior project? hmm, don't know about all of that. I did two things senior year of high school: Jack and Shit.

Senior projects seem to be gaining popularity in western schools; usually something that you "MUST" do to graduate, even if you have decent marks otherwise, and usually extremely lame. IME, teachers gave out As quite easily and some students even graduated without doing them.

Ya ours was supposed to be a HUGE research project thing with like a 2000-3000 word essay etc. on top of school work. Then we would of had to present it to a comittie etc.
First they had it where you couldn't graduate without it, then you just couldn't walk down the isle and do the ceremony. Then They draopped the essay portion, then they made the whole thing optional, and if you chose to still do it, you just got an "*" by your name in the program showing that you are special. heh. I think all the kids now have to do it, but our class got out of it. One thing we did have to do though was "service learning". Had to do like 10 hours a year voulnteer work.
I did pretty much the same as you mano because I hadn't even started my project when they decided to make it optional.
