I host a 24/7 Ventrlo 2.3.0 server that I only told Luke, Tony, Socks, Tet and Cheese about. I guess I'll post it officially now.
It is hosted on my HTPC (home theatre pc, the one I use for a TV next to me). It is on wireless lan and my tv "crashes a lot". I might be losing my net for a few weeks tonight though so watch out, but whenever this PC is on and connected to net (WLAN), Ventrilo 2.3.0 is up.
Don't downgrade, we need to upgrade. I've sent an email to Unter, who is in charge of the channel. One thing I can't stand is how Ventrilo won't let new clients connect to an older server. Lame.

I am working on getting BeyondTV or a better piece of software on there for my TV. Mine crashes every night and that's the PC the Vent server is on so...
... so I'm going to build myself a DDR PC and when I order the stuff for that I'll order the official Media Center remote and finally get rid of SageTV that keeps crashing (since my remote doesn't work with MCE for some reason... hauppauge pvr 250)... in the same breath the DDR PC will be built of the parts from this TV, I am getting a 3200+ and 9800 pro for the tv and moving the other parts into DDR pc so hopefully it shall run like new and my vent server can stop crashing yaaaaaay!
p.s. It was dead all day, it locked up during an infomercial lmao, I turn on my LCD at 9PM and there it is, a locked infomercial image stamped on the screen so it was definitely down all day (sorry, not my fault, beware of informercials though).
