“Due to power issues in NYC (we were supposed to have 3 20Amp circuits but it turns out we only have 3 15Amp circuits) we are doing some maintenance in NYC on Friday to upgrade that. There will be some downtime for all servers in NYC. I'll post on the website when we start and when we are done. I expect to start around Noon on Friday and be done around 6 or 7PM, though I will have to work around the exact schedules of some electricians who are doing the work.”

Bugger; my attempt to go 24+ hours RUNE has been nipped in the bud...

Oh well, I have been rune-ing with an (even more) newbie friend. he's learning faster than I did, probably because I gave him all the hints that were recently posted to this board ;-) Hopefully he'll be joining us in the arena whenever it's back up :-)

Guh!!! I hope the Arena is up soon, I have been playing AvP2 for the past few hours so I can kill things and make myself feel better. Sadly it just doesn't compair to dueling in the arena....

Hell, atleast it isn't like AOL's support line. For AMERICA online, all I ever get to talk to is foreigners who can't seem to speak english well at all. I get more frustrated talking to them then I do with all the damn disconnects and lag!

In beautiful Kafka-esque fasion: the server is now up; but through the upgrade the password has somehow changed.  Can't yet get back in.

Update: they're driving over to NY as we speak to manually boot that beatch up.
