Well one new video card and an extensive tech visit and my comp is broken no more! Not totally sure what went wrong but it was something to do with my pooor old vid card, but now I have a 5900 Ultra something or other , and since it has more numbers it must be better, right? Hopefully I will be able to play more now without crashing at random intervals. No more frustration??? We shall see!
The first week without my comp was like going through withdrawl symptoms!!! Comps are like Tech-heroin. Grrrr evil comps, why can't it all be simple and straightforward like my good ol' C64? Ironic that my C64 is like 20 years old, has been dropped off a 2 story balcony, and still works as good as new. They really don't make them like they used to .
